Here at LBSU we like to highlight some of the great fundraising that students undertake. Emily, a second year Criminology with Psychology student will be skydiving on the 23rd April to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity very near to her heart:

“In 2018, we sadly watched two people we loved slowly deteriorate due to Alzheimer's. This disease not only impacts a person but those around them as well. It is heart-breaking to watch a person lose their memories, abilities and even forget those closest to them. The Alzheimer's Society offers the support and care people need when dealing with the disease. I am doing this charity skydive to raise money for Alzheimer's society, in loving memory of Nanna Dot and Grandad Cole, who are sadly missed.

Any donations, big or small would be greatly appreciated by myself, and by Alzheimer’s Society.

Thank you for your support and wish me luck! Emily''
