Your full-time officers are elected by the student body during the Spring each year, and are paid and work full time leading Leeds Beckett Students’ Union for a year. They represent students to the university and help make students’ lives better.

Kick off your PRE FRESHERS week at the Iconic Disco Spoons, every student’s favourite venue. The best party atmosphere in the city!

CC Global Village Welcome Session: 14th September 11am - noon; RB 538 CC; Join us on City Campus for this information session. Find out what the Global Village has in store for Welcome Weeks and throughout the year. Joining us will be other services from across the university to provide usetul intormation for students.

City Campus Tour: 14th September 1pm - 2pm; Meet Rose Bowl Foyer; Join us on City Campus, meeting at the Rose Bowl Building ground floor foyer area for a tour of City Campus led by our Global Ambassadors. Get to know the campus and facilities.

GV Buddies Event: Meet a New Global Buddy: 15th September 1pm - 3pm; HC Global Hub, Campus Central; Join us for our Meet A Buddy Event, connect with Current Students and meet other new students. We will have icebreakers and games to get you chatting with other students. Meet your new friends here and make memories to last a lifetime.

Global Village Café Postcard - RB Foyer: 16th September 12:30pm - 2:30pm; Rose Bowl, City Campus; Come along and meet the team at our first Global Village Café of the term. Write a postcard back home for FREE, enjoy some sweet treats and a cup of Yorkshire tea!
