The Drunken Thespians is a group dedicated to getting together for a few drinks and laid-back rambling through abridged performances of some of Shakespeare's classics. It's what he would have wanted.
PRE-MEETING:
PDF copies of abridged script will be sent out before meeting - some paper copies will be avaliable but best if people can read off their phones
MEETING:
Begin with a reading of the text/a section of the text
Brief casual discussion of the readthrough/text
THE PERFORMANCE - ending the night with a fully fleshed out (and maybe slightly tipsy) runthrough of the play B)

- Making Shakespeare FUN, accessible and CHEAP
- English and Drama GCSE meets pres in your kitchen
- Voluntary donations for Leeds Heritage Theatres Engagement Fund
- Responsible alcohol consumption - drinking is not compulsory nor is getting wasted encouraged. Please know your limits and respect others' choices! :)
