Welcome to The Repository!
Leeds Beckett's student newspaper! Founded last year, The Repository is set to become one of Beckett's most notable societies. Whether you're an aspiring writer looking for some exposure or simply here to pick up a new hobby and share your voice, we'd love to have you on the team. We welcome everyone, not just journalists, to support all parts of the paper. This includes graphic designers, poets, editors, or artists. Does that sound like you? Cool! Drop by our next meeting to learn more. All dates will be posted on Insta and in our WhatsApp group!
Membership Fee
As a new society, every penny helps! A membership fee of £5 is required, and it goes towards print editions and social events.
What Do We Cover?
The paper covers everything relevant to us as students, including News, Art & Culture, Fashion & Lifestyle, Sports, and Student Life. We hold regular meetings to plan and navigate content ideas and issues
Socials
We also host frequent social events throughout the year. These include pub quizzes, karaoke, and themed events.
