Welcome to the Spoken Word Society!
We are passionate about poetry, prose and short-form spoken word performances.
Every month we host SpeakEasys: Open Mics where everyone is welcome to listen, or to perform their own pieces! It takes place every second Thursday of the month, 6-8pm, check out our Instagram for our next event!
Additionally, we host biweekly social Writing Workshops in Flamingos, and occasional Contemplation Clubs, where we gather in the Rose Bowl cafeteria for free coffee, porridge, and conversations about poetry.
We can't wait to see you there! Message us on instagram if you have any question, or want to be added to our WhatsApp Groupchat.

The Student Elections are the most important democratic event on campus where students choose who they would like to see run their Students' Union as part of the Executive Committee. The candidates with the most votes are elected to represent their peers.
