Welcome to the Spoken Word Society!
We are passionate about poetry, prose and short-form spoken word performances.
Every month we host SpeakEasys: Open Mics where everyone is welcome to listen, or to perform their own pieces! It takes place every second Thursday of the month, 6-8pm, check out our Instagram for our next event!
Additionally, we host biweekly social Writing Workshops in Flamingos, and occeasional Contemplation Clubs, where we gather in the Rose Bowl cafeteria for free coffee, porridge, and conversations about poetry.
