Lishi is an ancient form of exercise from China that teaches us to move in harmony with nature, other people and the world around us.
It includes Taichi, Taoist Yoga, Meditation and Kung Fu and has been practiced for 1000s of years.

This ancient practice teaches us to remain calm and centred when faced with the stresses of the modern world.
They prove to be an excellent remedy for the pressures of uni life, offering a way for students to stay strong and grounded throughout their uni experience.

Our society has now joined with the Leeds University Lishi Daoist Taichi society, so classes will be hosted in Leeds university Union and you will get a chance to meet and train with students from both Leeds Beckett and Leeds University.

Beginners classes in LUU can be found in the Mango studio at following times:

Tuesday evening 6-7:45pm

Friday 3-4:30pm

Membership and first class free.
Then £10/class or £20 for an 8-class pass.
