Welcome to the Disabled Students' Community!

This community aims to bring together all students who identify as disabled. This is a space to meet up, network, and socialise with people who may share similar lived experiences!

This community is led by student leaders and supported by our Student Community Organisers to offer a space to discuss shared experiences: both successes and issues you experience while at university. These spaces aim to give you the power to make a positive change on campus. They’re also a great place to find out about how to get involved in wider community organising campaigns with your Students’ Union.

If you personally identify as being part of this community, you may sign up for membership for free to join our contact list to hear about upcoming events, campaigns and opportunities relevant to you.

If you do not personally identify as being part of this community but still wish to be invited to relevant events and support upcoming campaigns, you may sign up for an ally membership for free.

If you would like to be involved with the leadership of your community to help bring students together, or would just like an informal chat to hear more about the community, please get in touch by sending us an email at: communityorganising@leedsbeckett.ac.uk

We’re so excited for you to get involved and can’t wait to welcome you to your community on campus!
