Leeds Beckett STAR, Student Action for Refugees, is part of the nationwide charity, STAR National. This society is for those who are interested in learning more about the situation of refugees around the world and taking action locally! The aims of the society are: - Campaigning and raising awareness of the situation of refugees and asylum seekers - Coordinate fundraising events and activities to support local refugee charities - Volunteer at local refugee projects If you are interested in learning more about refugees, taking campaign action and meeting likeminded people then please join us to get involved!
