NHSF Leeds is a faith and culture society which aims to raise awareness, spread knowledge and celebrate Hinduism. We welcome everyone, no matter their level of knowledge or dedication to the religion, and hope to create a memorable experience for all our members. The main purpose is to ‘Preserve, Protect, Practice and Promote Hindu Dharma’.

Our regular activities include weekly?Aarti, discussions and fortnightly socials such as movie and games night. Our larger events include Garba (traditional Indian dance), annual Diwali dinner and Mehfil (our flagship Indian ball). We also get involved in a lot of charitable work (Sewa) with the intent of following the key Hindu principles and playing our part in society,

For those of you interested in sports, either competitively or recreationally, we hold regular practices in sports including football, netball and badminton, where there is also an opportunity to compete nationally against other NHSF UK universities.

By joining this society, not only will you be able grow your knowledge about the religion but also meet new people and become part of our close-knit community!
