The Law Distance Learners Society (LDLS) at Leeds Beckett University is a society compromised of students pursuing distance studies in law. LDLS has been established to cultivate a vibrant community for fellow distance learners. Our mission is clear: to provide a platform for socializing, knowledge sharing, support and networking opportunities akin to the on-campus experience. Through engaging events, insightful discussions, and supportive networks, LDLS aims to enrich the journey of law education for all members, bridging the gap between distance learning and campus life. Individuals are invited to join LDLS as they collectively build connections, offer support, and foster a dynamic community of passionate law scholars. Together, we endeavour to enhance the distance learning experience for law students at Leeds Beckett University.

Update as of May 1, 2025: This Society has been formally retired. We thank you all for your collaboration, inspiration, ethusiasm, and participation this past year in all of our Society events. We hope that the LLS will adopt similar initiatives for future students. In the meantime, you can continue to connect with fellow students on our Whatsapp, as it will remain open indefinitely as an informal group, unaffiliated to LBU, the LBSU, or LLS. You may also engage with the Law Students' Community and Recreation Societies Broadcast Channels on Whatsapp, check in with the LBSU for the links! You may also engage with the Leeds Beckett Law Society or the Distance Community.  Stay in touch and we send you the warmest wishes in all of your future endeavours. Thank you again!
