Celebrate Pride with our Leeds Beckett student & staff community by joining us in the official Leeds Pride Parade!

On Sunday 21 July 2024, Leeds Beckett will once again be joining the Leeds Pride Parade, along with students and staff from LBU & LBSU, to celebrate our LGBTQ+ Community!

Join our walking float

If you would like to join LBU’s walking float in the official parade, please register your interest here. Timings are approximately 10:45 to 13:00, exact timings to be sent to participants closer to the time. Please be aware that there is usually some waiting around time before and after the parade, which includes 45+ minutes of walking through Leeds City Centre, and that parts of the route may not be entirely suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Full details including where to meet us etc. will be communicated with you once you have registered your interest on the above form.

Join our placard making workshop

Create placards and meet other students and collegues joining the parade on Tuesday 9 July, 16:30 to 18:30. Register your interest here.

We look forward to the Pride celebrations and hope you can join us!

Student Elections 2026

4 posts are up for election.

The polls have closed.

National Union of Students Affiliation Referendum

If YES wins Leeds Beckett Students’ Union will remain affiliated with NUS UK and continue to take part in national student representation and campaigning through the organisation. If NO wins Leeds Beckett Students’ Union will leave NUS UK and will no longer be a member of the political and campaigning body. Regardless of the outcome, our affiliation with NUS Charity will remain unchanged. For the result to meet Quorum: a minimum of 4% of LBSU members (943) must cast a vote for the referendum to be valid

Should Leeds Beckett Students’ Union remain affiliated to NUS UK?
