The facilitator is called Ash; they have worked in charities for many years supporting women experiencing domestic abuse and other related issues such as sexual assault, violence, harassment and stalking. You can make a one-to-one appointment with Ash by emailing email@example.com.
You are in control of the information you give when you use the service so nothing can be passed on without your consent. You can use the service anonymously if you want to, however if you choose to give your name and other details everything you say would still be kept strictly confidential except if you (or your children if you have them) seemed to be at immediate risk of serious harm. In this case Ash would talk with you about how to safeguard yourself and any children.
If you have given your details and are believed to be at ongoing serious risk Ash would need to act according to University protocols.
Yes, the one-to-one support is open to all gender identities including students who identify as men. Men seeking group support for any form of sexual assault or abuse are also encouraged to contact Leeds Survivor Support Group.
