*This is an in-person volunteering opportunity*
What will IntoUniversity expect from you?
- To meet with your young person mentee for one hour every two weeks
- Commitment to the role and enthusiasm for working with young people (minimum of 10 meetings)
- Willingness to build positive relationships with young people
- Initiative and collaboration with staff to help to deliver engaging sessions
- Compliance with our volunteer code of conduct and safeguarding procedures

- Training opportunities to develop your skills, depending on the role
- Flexibility in volunteering around your schedule

How to Apply

- You will then be invited to attend a training and selection session to prepare you for working with young people, including in-depth safeguarding training
- If selected to be a mentor, you will be matched with an IntoUniversity centre in your local area
- You will be invited to an induction at your centre to meet your team
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List check (England) or PVG Child check (Scotland). IntoUniversity covers this cost and will support you with the application process
