Meeting at Woodhouse Community Centre at 10.30am the group, led by a Permaculture and Horticulture expert complete small gardening projects to enhance the biodiversity of the Woodhouse and Bedford Gardens. The group is also linked to Climate Action Leeds and hopes to cross-pollinate with larger projects across Leeds. You will learn a range of permaculture and sustainable gardening theory and practical skills.
This is a gardening drop-in group. An email you would like to attend is sufficient for joining. If you would to be a fully registered volunteer you will also receive First-Aid, Mental Health First Aid and Safeguarding Training.

Here at Woodhouse Community Centre we support a number of women who are new to the UK and new to Leeds as well as local residence who struggle with issue around economic hardship and social isolation. We are looking for sometime who identifies as female, is female presenting or identifies as a woman to help another established volunteer to support women to come together for an informal exercise group.
