Manor Wood Primary School

If you would like to gain experience working with children in a Primary School setting, we invite you to apply to join our ECaR (Every Child a Reader) team. We work with children one to one to develop their reading skills with a structured, multi-sensory and engaging programme. Full, on the job, training will be provided and all the resources that you need will be ready for you. You will be working with our fabulous 5 and 6 year olds who are lots of fun. This is a very successful programme and a hugely rewarding role. We ask you to commit to 1 afternoon per week (1pm-3pm) during term time. We are flexible during exam periods. Manor Wood School is walking distance from Headingley (if you like walking!)... otherwise there are buses available.
