As a major contributor to the local area, we are working hard to increase our positive impacts on the environment, economy, and society.
Our core service at Leeds Beckett is education. By becoming a volunteer with the sustainability team you will gain the knowledge and skills to make more sustainable decisions and impacts.
Green Impact Audits - volunteers needed!
Green Impact Auditors conduct remote sustainability audits of university departments, reviewing their sustainability activities and providing feedback, all of which can be done from the comfort of your own home. You will receive a half-day IEMA-approved training course over zoom where you will learn about sustainability issues and how they apply to the university, as well as develop professional and analytical skills. You will learn how to conduct a sustainability audit, and then get the opportunity to conduct one or more audits of university departments via video-conference. No previous experience necessary, but you will need access to the internet on a computer for the full training day.
Volunteer training and audits will all take place on 3rd March 10am – 4:30pm (with breaks built in).
Start time: 10:00 AM
End time: 04:30 PM
Available in: Morning Afternoon
