Join the Great Daffodil Appeal 2019!

Volunteering just two hours of your time will help to raise the money needed to make sure more dying people get the care and support they need at the end of their lives.

Last year in Leeds, the Great Daffodil Appeal raised over £18,950. This was able to provide nearly 950 hours of nursing care in the local community.

Collecting is lots of fun, you can do it on your own or with friends, and we'll support you from the moment you sign up.

Once you’ve signed up to collect, we’ll send you a handy pocket guide, all about collecting. We’ll either send it by email or in the post.

We try and get as many people as possible to our collections, so we hope you won’t be collecting alone. However, there’s a chance you might be. If you’d prefer not to be by yourself, why not ask a friend or family member to sign up so you can collect together?

Some collections have a volunteer host who meets you on the day. They'll give you any materials you need, as well as useful information. If your collection doesn’t have a host, don't worry. We'll send you everything you need before your collection.

You may also get a call from your local Marie Curie fundraising office. In case you need to get in touch, you'll find your collection host or fundraiser details in your confirmation email or letter.

You'll find the answers to common questions in your handy pocket guide. If you've given us your email address, we’ll email you a link to download it. If not, then we'll send it in the post.

Please do feel free to chat to people about their experiences - it can be so rewarding to hear real stories and words of thanks for Marie Curie's support.

Don't be afraid to talk about our cause, too. Every daffodil means our nurses can care for more people - that's what the Great Daffodil Appeal is all about.

You can sign up at www.mariecurie.org.uk/collections or get in touch now. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
