The Disabled Students' Campaign represents and campaigns on behalf of Leeds Beckett students who identify as being disabled.

We believe in a social model of disability, that disability is caused by the way society is organised through barriers and discrimination, not because of our individual impairments. The social model of disability looks at ways of removing barriers that restrict life choices for disabled people and enables them to be independent and equal in society, with choice and control over their own lives.

Our draft manifesto (below) outlines our vision for making our student members' lives better and serves as a baseline commitment of what can be expected from our Campaign over the course of the next three years.
