This academic year Physio Society will be organizing and curating a series of events contributing to CPD (continual professional development) as well as organizing socials... because healthcare students know how to party. Socials will be a mixture of drinking and non-drinking events, and we want these events to be varied and inclusive for all physio students.
The intention of our CPD events is to focus on health promotion, both for your patients and yourself. They will consist of a lot of taster sessions, giving you tacit knowledge to promote healthy lifestyles. It is also designed to act as a springboard to explore your own interests which could be taken further e.g. attending a 'Yoga For Physios' event leads to you practicing yoga, which leads to you gain a teaching qualification.

This society is only open to those currently studying on the Physiotherapy BSc and MSc courses here at Leeds Beckett, in line with the protected nature of HCPC registration.
