Hi, I'm Dhruv and I am happy to represent you this year as Students' Union President.

Heya!

I'm Dhruv Dev, your President at Leeds Beckett Students’ Union. 

I am from Delhi, India, and I have a background in the Medical, Events and Media fields.

I graduated in physiotherapy and worked as a freelancer curating and organising India’s top music, food and University fest. I also worked as a Show Presenter/Emcee with MTV and VH1 India.

I am currently doing a mix of both my passion and profession. Before starting my role as President of LBSU, I was studying for my MSc Sports Event Management and I worked as a project supervisor with Shop Zero and Ecosoup. While working on Cost of Living and sustainability with LBSU, I realised that in the role of President I could take campaigns and projects to a broader level. I stood as a candidate in the Leadership Elections and, with all your support, won!
