My name is Faran Zulfiqar, and I’m going into my second year of BSc Biomedical Sciences at Leeds Beckett. I’m a Student Community Organiser with the Students’ Union, where I enjoy supporting students and helping to build a strong sense of community on campus. 

Outside of university, I’m dedicated to boxing and MMA — I’ve won multiple gold medals and I now coach boxing professionally to young people in South Leeds. I’m passionate about using sport to inspire and empower young people.
