Get ready to shape the future of your Students’ Union!
Each year, students across Leeds Beckett University choose the leaders who will champion their needs, ideas, and asks to decision makers for the year ahead. These elected representatives play a key role in standing up for your interests, driving positive change on and off campus, and supporting our community of more than 24,000 students. Their goal is simple: to make student life better!
This year the Student Elections are taking place next month on 24-25 March. Candidates will be campaigning on campus and you'll be sent a link via email to vote online on our website. The Student Elections provide an opportunity for discussions around student issues, for students to campaign for a position at the SU and for you to elect your SU representatives for the 2026/27 academic year. Get to know your candidates this year and learn more about the elections in the next few weeks!
Please note that the final list of candidates might change slightly based on the completion of all mandatory stages of the election process - the final list will be published at the beginning of March. Candidate statements will be published w/c 2 March too so keep an eye on our channels for the announcement.
You can also attend the Candidate Hustings Event on Wednesday 18 March at 14:00 at the ground floor of the Leslie Silver Library at City Campus to hear what they have to say!
