We are pleased to invite you to take part in an important project to improve the university experience for people who study at Leeds Beckett University.

The project is called Building A New Democracy for Leeds Beckett Students' Union (LBSU).
All students are members of LBSU, a charity that exists to make students' lives better. That includes you!
We want to hear about what life is like for our students right now - the joys, the challenges, motivations and frustrations that you are facing. We are inviting you to take part in some events where we will listen deeply to what you and other students have to say.
It doesn't matter what course you're on, how long you've been at Leeds Beckett, or whether you've been involved in the Students' Union or not. You don't need any prior knowledge or experience - just a willingness to share your thoughts. We want to hear it all - the good and the bad.
There are 3 opportunities to get involved:
- Join our Student Focus Groups
These will take place online on the following Thursdays from 17:00 - 18:30
29 October / 9 November / 16 November
Participants will be paid £50 each for participating in all 3 focus groups.
- Take part in our Diary Study
Participants will be paid £20 each for sharing a few short messages (10-15mins each) with us about how life is going each week during October and November.
- Join our Deliberative Workshop
Participants will be paid £65.40 each for attending a 1 day workshop on Saturday 2 December, 10:00 - 16:00.
