Magpie is a meaningful marketing agency with expertise in community engagement and behaviour change who choose to work with clients that want to deliver social good and leave a lasting positive impact on the world.
We are currently working with the Association of Directors of Public Health in Yorkshire and the Humber on a gambling harms campaign and the Gambling Understood website has just recently launched.
We are looking to hold a mixture of online focus groups (6-8 people per group) and/or some 1-2-1 interviews/chats if that proves easier for some.
Who we'd like to speak to:

Adults who gamble at least 4 times a month (excluding the national lottery)

Adults who don’t gamble but who are affected by gambling (e.g. partner or close friend or child/parent who gambles).

Must live in Yorkshire and the Humber

Age 18-34 years
When:
- As soon as possible! The Focus groups will be carried out from w/c 25th September onwards and are approx 1hr or less (timings/dates tbc)
We really appreciate people's valuable time & opinions from their lived experience. Each participant who takes part will receive a £20 shopping voucher to say thank you for being involved to treat yourself or a loved one.
If you do not get chosen for this set of focus groups, we shall be holding more in December/January so please do apply if you're interested and we can contact you again nearer the time.
