Mental Health Hub

The Mental Health Hub is a resource that contains information on the following areas:

  • How you can seek support when you have for suicidal feelings and your mental health, both within the University and externally.
  • Information on how to open up a safe conversation on suicide and mental health, and how to support someone with suicidal thoughts/their mental health. There are also resources for those supporting someone with mental health issues to seek support themselves.
  • A section that links to a 20-minute training session by the Zero Suicide Alliance that teaches life-saving skills online.

The NHS and Zero Suicide Alliance have developed a free 20 minute training session that can give you the skills to have these difficult conversations in a safe way.
