For our second event of the year we will be doing a pub walk on Ilkley Moor. Starting at the train station and walking accross to Dick Hudsons Pub. The walk will be around 12.5 miles so bring plenty of snacks
We will start this walk at Ilkley Train Station before heading up towards Ilkley Crags, the route then continues towards the twelve apostles stone circle. From here it is 4 miles accross the moors to Dick Hudsons pub where we will stop for a drink. We will either get food at the pub or we will all pack a lunch (to be decided based on preferences and group size). We will then head back the 4 miles to the twelve apostles, and either go back to the station the same route we came, or add on another 2 miles to go by the cow and calf rocks, this will be decided on the day based on how the group is feeling.
We recommend good solid walking boots or shoes and to bring waterproof layers and plenty of snacks and water
For transport we will take the train from Leeds station to Ilkley and we recommend buying an open return ticket (Only £5 with a railcard)
