Join us as we head to our local track, Teamsport Leeds, for our first go-karting event of the year! A favourite track for us, Leeds offers a mix of high speed down the main straight and tight and twisty through the tunnel section, offering a perfect mix for newcomers and experienced karters alike!
No experience is required, just turn up and get in a go-kart! There will be a mix of abilities on the track, from first-timers to seasoned racers so no matter what your experience level is, you're guaranteed to have a blast! All safety gear will be provided by the circuit (with the exception of a balaclava, which can be lent by other society members or purchased at the circuit for a small fee, but once you've bought it you'll never have to buy one again).
Unfortunately, owing to the cost of motorsports, the society is unable to provide this GIAG session for free. As such, each participant will have to pay (price TBC soon) for 30 minutes of on track action, including a 15 minute qualifying session and a 15 minute grid-start race - a format you wouldn't get by just arriving and booking onto a public session. This really isn't one to be missed.

Where possible, the society will provide transport to the event in the form of carpooling, however this cannot be guaranteed for every member and will be organised on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note: We will be managing spaces for this event internally, and places are limited. Please do not show up at the track on the day if you have not previously confirmed a space with one of the committee members as we will not be able to accomodate on the day arrivals. If spaces for this event fill up, we will endevour to book a second session on a similar date and time to accomodate as many people as possible.
