British GT Round 1 - Race Day Trip

Sunday 26 April 2026

8:30am - 6pm

Silverstone Circuit

The UK's premier Sports Car racing series is back!

BritishGT - Round 1: Silverstone 500

The UK's greatest sports car series is back with the jewel of their calendar for round 1: the Silverstone 500! This gruelling 3 hour race around the world famous Silverstone Grand Prix circuit pushes the drivers to their limits, featuring a mid-race driver swap and some of the fastest racecars to hit Britian's circuits. Racing is not limited to the BritishGT series, with a number of support championships also taking to the track throughout the day, meaning non-stop track action at one of racing's greatest venues.

For £40 admission, your ticket will include racing action from 9am through to 18:00 from the following championships:

  • GB4 Championship (F4 cars): 2 races
  • GB3 Championship (essentially British F3): 2 races
  • Ginetta GT Championship & GT Academy: 1 race
  • Ginetta Junior Championship: 2 races
  • BritshGT Championship: warm-up and 3 hour endurance race

This makes this a great opportunity to experience some of the fastest racing in the UK at the same circuit that hosts the F1 Grand Prix every year, for a fraction of the cost of a Grand Prix ticket (and arguably better quality racing).

The society will be providing transport to and from the circuit, although space will be limited so if you're looking to come along please let us know as soon as possible, either via our email (lbumotorsport@gmail.com), our Instagram (@lbu_motorsport) or on our WhatsApp channel

Please note: tickets must be purchased from the promoter's website here. Please do not buy a ticket unless you know you have transport to the circuit, either via the society (and have spoken to us) or your own arrangements. We cannot guarantee transport for every member.
