Join award-winning spoken word artist, educator, and now author Jaspreet Kaur for a FREE workshop at Universities across the UK.

Through a series of intimate and facilitated workshops, ‘The Brown Girl Like YOU!’ University Tour will provide a safe space for open dialogue about womanhood on themes such as body image, mental health, relationships, and social media.

University is a vital transition point in all our lives and these workshops will provide an opportunity for young South Asians to share their stories, build their confidence, and know that they’re not alone on their journey of navigating their intersectional identities.

Award-winning spoken word artist, secondary school teacher, and author of the highly acclaimed book ‘Brown Girl Like Me’, Jaspreet Kaur, goes on the road to take the messages of the book direct to universities across the country, reaching the South Asian women that she wrote the book for.

Brown Girl Like Me has been lauded as the book that ‘Brown Girls’ across the world have been waiting for. It’s a book that will give women confidence, power, reassurance and permission to be the very best version of themselves that they WANT to be.
