The Jobs Show – 21st March – 11am-2pm Final years – find a job!

The Jobs Show is our annual Spring Careers Fair for final year students and recent grads and aims to showcase

  • employers who want to hire from LBU
  • different options with your degree
  • ways to boost your CV
  • self-employment/freelance support

This event is perfect for you if you are wanting to explore your options, meet employers, find out about work experience opportunities over the summer and get next steps ready.

Where? 

City Campus Student Union Main Stage/Events area - situated next to the main SU bar, where the vintage clothes sale and gigs are held. Access can be gained through Woodhouse Building. If you get stuck with finding us, please pop into your new Careers Centre right next to the City Campus library for directions.

What to expect

Come along at any time between 11am to 2pm. Upon arrival please visit one of our registration desks so that we can check you in and provide key information. 

A variety of different employers and organisations will be available to have informal conversations with at any point during the event. Employers are coming along to tell you about their job opportunities, their workplace, how to apply for their roles and how to stand out during the application process. Don't forget to connect with the individuals that you meet on LinkedIn afterwards. This is your chance to make a great first impression.
