Leeds Beckett Students’ Union exists to represent and support each and every one of the 25,000 students that study here at Leeds Beckett. To do this effectively, we pride ourselves on having strong student leadership in place to influence and direct the work we do to improve the lives of students on campus, in the local community, and on a national level.
Every October, we hold by-elections to decide who will take up these important leadership roles. Every Leeds Beckett student is eligible to stand and vote in these elections, which decide the membership of the Student Council. The Student Council consists of a range of part-time, voluntary roles that ensure that the diverse range of students at Leeds Beckett are represented effectively within the Students’ Union.
