  • Samaritans - 116 123 Samaritans is a listening and advice helpline for people who feel suicidal or have issues going on in their lives. The services are confidential, anonymous and non-judgemental. Free to call and open 24/7. 
  • NHS 111 - 111 to speak to a fully trained adviser 24/7 about urgent medical concerns.
  • Connect Helpline - 0808 800 1212 Leeds Based emotional support and information (18:00-02.00) This is a free service and open 365 days a year.
  • The Mix - 0808 808 4994 - Free, confidential helpline for under 25's - Open 16.00 - 23.00 365 days a year.
  • Muslim Youth Helpline 0808 808 2008 A free and confidential service offering support to vulnerable youth in need, open from 16.00 to 22.00 every day.
  • HOPELineUK - 0800 0684141/ SMS 07786 209697 Free, confidential young persons suicide prevention advice (Weekdays: 10:00-22:00pm, Weekends: 14:00- 22:00, Bank Holidays: 14:00- 17:00)
  • Campaign Against Living Miserably 0800 58 58 58 Free helpline for young men (aged 15-35) who are depressed or suicidal or living in crisis (17.00-midnight 7 days per week)
  • SANEline 0300 304 7000 SANEline is a national 7 days a week out of hours telephone helpline offering specialist emotional support and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers.(16.30-22.30 each evening)

  • BEAT Eating Disorders - 0808 801 0811 BEAT is an eating disorder charity offering a student support line for students who are suffering from an eating disorder. Free to call on weekdays 12.00 - 20.00
  • Switch Board (LGBT+ Helpline) - 0300 330 0630 This is a free helpline to provide information, support and referral services for LBGT community and anyone having issues around their sexuality and gender identity 10.00 - 22.00 365 days a year.   
  • MindLine Trans+ (Trans+ Helpline) - 0300 330 5468 mindline@bristolmind.org.uk MindLine Trans+ offers emotional support to people who are Trans+, A Gender, Gender Fluid and Non-binary and anyone wanting to talk about their gender identity.
