About Us

Leeds Street Angels help to make Leeds city centre a safer place to be on a night out. We help people stay safe and we reduce crime. Look out for us when you're out!

Street Angels usually patrol on Saturday nights…

  • We normally walk between 3-5 miles per night
  • We seek to ‘love the people in front of us’ – whether that be door staff, police, party-goers or people that have become vulnerable
  • That ‘love’ may be anything from a listening ear, having a friendly chat, to giving a bottle of water, booking a taxi or sitting waiting with someone who is intoxicated
  • We do not judge the people we meet
  • Street Angels welcomes volunteers from all faith backgrounds or none. It is a project, run by Christians, and we expect volunteers to be sympathetic to our ethos.
