About Us

Luv2MeetU is a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. Our focus is on friendship, social events, workshops, developing independence and confidence.

As a volunteer for Luv2MeetU you could work with our Community Connector running events, helping to research and plan future events, be involved in marketing and promoting our service or getting involved in social media. You could also work along side me, the volunteer coordinator on a project to recruit and advertise for future volunteers both in the university and futher afield. Or our Virtual Coordinator, helping to run and plan our programme of virtual events that will be rolled out nation wide.

If you are 18 or over then you could even run your own event, with a friend may-be. A cinema trip or meal out for example. Training and shadowing the Community Coordinator first would be mandatory.

A hybrid role would be also be possible where you could experience one or more of these roles to gain extra experience, meet more people and build on your portfolio of evidence for your time with us.

Any expenses are paid and your CV greatly enhanced by helping us to support our club members to achieve their own personal goals and develop their confidence as well as yours!
