We are a charity from Leeds, UK and offer care, compassion and hope to the homeless, the vulnerable and those suffering from substance dependence. 365 days a year.

St George’s Crypt has come a long way from its roots back in 1930, but the vision remains; supporting the homeless and vulnerable of Leeds. We have built a range of social enterprises in retail and catering, offering development and training opportunities to our homeless and vulnerable clients.

Positioned in the centre of Leeds, St. George’s Crypt provides award-winning, 24/7 emergency accommodation for men and women who are homeless or rough-sleeping.

  • 12,382 Showers - Over 12,000 hot showers provided last year to anyone in need.
  • 65,700 Hot Meals - Hot food for our residents courtesy of our catering team.
  • 10,920 Beds - Provided last year for occupants needing a safe place to sleep.

Breakfast Bite provides pay-as-you-feel breakfasts for students on City Campus from 9.30- 11am every Thursday morning during term time! Looking for a hot affordable breakfast on campus? This is your spot! 

You can choose from instant oats, toast and Idli (Indian rice cakes) or grab a cup of tea or coffee before heading to your lectures. 

It's right at Eco Soup by The Hive, and you can even bring your own bowl or cup for a free drink!
