About Us

Home-Start Leeds is a voluntary organisation offering both emotional and practical support to families with at least one child under seven in the Leeds area.

We know that being a parent isn’t always easy and that life can bring stress and challenges that get in the way of family life.

Our volunteers from all communities and backgrounds visit parents in their home once a week for around 2-4 hours and develop a supportive relationship to help them to build brighter futures for their children and themselves.

Breakfast Bite provides pay-as-you-feel breakfasts for students on City Campus from 9.30- 11am every Thursday morning during term time! Looking for a hot affordable breakfast on campus? This is your spot! 

You can choose from instant oats, toast and Idli (Indian rice cakes) or grab a cup of tea or coffee before heading to your lectures. 

It's right at Eco Soup by The Hive, and you can even bring your own bowl or cup for a free drink!
