About Us

Rebirth is an up-and-coming charity dedicated to provide adolescents (aged 14-18) who have experienced lack of care or parental guidance with a holistic support system and overcome structural barriers

Individually, our program aims to empower beneficiaries, inspiring them to realize their full potential. Structurally, Rebirth strives to actively address local community barriers and promote wider participation in higher education.

Rebirth is establishing a volunteer and resource network spanning Leeds Beckett University, University of Leeds, Leeds Arts University, and local organizations. Leveraging university activities and workshops, we aim to create personalized programmes for each beneficiary.

We will provide our charity beneficiaries with:

- Engagement with university culture e.g. attending sport/art/music/wellbeing society gatherings and events.

- career opportunities and practical advice on entering higher education e.g. access to career fairs

- Educational support e.g. skills workshops, guidance on UCAS, etc

- Personalised mentoring programmes

- Select financial assistance e.g. local transportTop of Form

Furthermore, Rebirth benefits Leeds Beckett University students by providing a chance to join a diverse community, gain volunteering experience, receive mentoring and training, and build networks. Volunteers develop skills, explore career paths, and experience the rewarding opportunity of inspiring a young person to be ambitious.
