The English Practice Club will run on a Monday morning from 09:30 - 11:00. It will be for anyone...
Volunteers must be excellent at communicating in English. A second lagnuage skill or experience of teaching English would be an advantage but not essesntial.
Each session will be run at The Old Fire Station in Gipton.
Travel expenses are covered.
Full training provided to volunteers including safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection, personal safety and Equal opportunities. Volunteers will also have access to training from external providers for free if relevant to the role.
Regular volunteer supervisions and support provided, as well as celebration events.

Supporting people to learn basic IT skills
The participants will be taught by a member of staff, and volunteers will help particpants practice their new skills. These could include how to use email, shop, book appointments, download apps etc. Only basic IT skills are necessary, but a friendly and approachable person who is an excellent communicator is essential. Full training and support will be provided. The digital hub will run from 12th July at 10am and every Tuesday at this time.

Volunteer to plan and organise activities for parents with young toddlers. Applicant must have some experience of working with children and parents and be fun, creative and active. Must have good imagination to plan different types of activities that are safe for young children and it be meaningful for parents to learn from.
We are looking for someone ASAP to join the team so that the group can be successful in it’s delivery.
Supervising the room and the parents with young toddlers. Organising and planning different activities for the week as part of a small team and creating a safe, friendly space.
