Cloth Cat is a music/education charity based in inner city Leeds supporting those at most disadvantage living in neglected parts of the city. Building from the bottom up where support is needed most, music, people, confidence building and empowerment are at the heart of our activities.
We help people to gain control over their lives and find avenues into employment, further education and other positive social activity by providing a range of inclusive and creative projects, courses and events so that people gain the opportunity to learn a range of musical and personal skills.

About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, creative individual who is interested in raising the charities platform through social media, to get involved and run our New TikTok account. Community leadership and participation (both online and offline) is integral to this role, communicating Cloth Cat Studios brand in a positive, authentic way will boost our profile and ability to reach more vulnerable adults and children.

Cloth Cat are a charity based in inner-city Leeds that uses music training to help local people improve the quality of their lives. We help people to gain control over their lives and find avenues into employment by providing the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and to develop their musical talent. By doing this, we also provide a basis for empowerment, confidence building and making music contacts that will become ever more useful as their abilities continue to grow towards their future.
Training
All Cloth Cat volunteers receive a clear and concise induction covering our policies, procedures, problem solving, confidentiality, boundaries and much more. Further training is available through 3rd parties and each volunteer is required to undertake the relevant training required to carry out their role.
Expenses
Volunteers should not be out of pocket while carrying out their volunteering role with Cloth Cat. They will be entitled to have their travel costs reimbursed along with any other out of packet expense incurred while fulfilling the role.
DBS
Due to the nature of work we do with Vulnerable Adults and Children a DBS will be required. This is done at no cost to the volunteer and in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Anyone with criminal convictions will not be discriminated against but will require to undertake a Risk Assessment in line with the volunteer role they have applied for.
