  • Please note you must be aged 16 or over to volunteer with us

The recruitment process

1.An initial phone call to receive more information

2.Introduction to the organisation

3.A completed application form

4.Interview

5.Two references are requested

6.An enhanced DBS check

7.Induction at both the LWCA offices and at the play scheme

8.Training

Other information

While this is an unpaid opportunity, we do cover reasonable travel expenses for our volunteers. Unfortunately, we cannot cover childcare expenses. Volunteering does not affect your benefits, but if you’re unsure, then please contact your Benefits Adviser.
