The national governing body of Cricket in England and Wales, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are creating more volunteer opportunities for South Asian females to help deliver their national cricket programmes for children from Spring 2021, but you can get involved and start your volunteering journey now!
Through their mantra Dream Big Desi Women, they are looking to inspire more and more women like yourself and those within your communities.
If you are interested in helping children to learn, play, have fun and create memories that will last a lifetime then read on and become a volunteer today. You don’t need any cricket or sports coaching experience, just an unshakeable can-do attitude and a desire to be part of something special.

The ECB are looking for volunteers who can commit 1 hour per week across a variety of roles on offer (Initial programme is 8 weeks, opportunity for longer placements)
Programmes can vary including weekend programmes, school holiday programmes, after school clubs etc
Locations are across inner city Leeds, dependant on organisation location
Winter 2020 - Virtual 'Introduction to Programme' training for 1 hr via Zoom
Spring 2021 - Face to Face training session (Covid restrictions dependant), identify suitable location of programme, First Aid qualification, delivery of programme, FUN!!
