We couldn’t do what we do without the amazing support of volunteers, generously donating their time to support us in the fight for every childhood. Our Community Fundraising Volunteers make a huge difference to the success of the NSPCC and our ability to raise more funds, reaching more children and families. Childhood shapes who we become. Abuse never should.

What you'll be doing

  • Volunteering without a regular time commitment 'as and when' identifying roles that interest you
  • Assisting at fundraising events throughout the year
  • Engaging the public and local organisations - promoting a positive image of the NSPCC

 

You'll be a valued part of one of our lLeeds Volunteer Community Fundraising Team, raising awareness and funds, creating a new portfolio of events that suit you and your networks. You'll learn more about the importance of the NSPCC's work, have the opportunity to grow your skills and to enthuse and inspire others to support us!

Who's right for the role?

We're looking for people with a passion for helping young people and children. They should be enthusiastic, personable and able to think on their feet. They'll need to work well within a team and have great communication and social skills!

Our volunteers come from all walks of life and are involved in our work in different ways. You will learn more about the important of the NSPCC’s work with children and young families. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in representing the NSPCC brand to the public as well as enthusing and inspiring others to support us. You may have to think on your feet to handle queries from members if the public but you will be well supported so can build your confidence and skills in this role in a safe environment.
