Course Representation at Leeds Beckett is formed of a three way partnership between the University, the Students' Union and students - removing any one of those three elements renders the system ineffective.
Course Reps play a vital part in finding out about the student experience at Leeds Beckett University and how we can continually improve our services as a broad learning community.
Each year, around 1000 students are elected by their peers to act as a Course Representative, working on behalf of their fellow students to gather feedback, resolve issues and share best practice.
Whilst normally straightforward, we understand that electing Course Reps can sometimes be difficult and this is where the Students' Union can help!
Any member of the team is available to take your call, receive your email or meet for a catch up if you have any questions about all things Course Representation - we can even come into lectures at your request if you would like us to deliver a specific talk to your students about the benefits of being a Course Rep.
Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0113 81 28400.
All guidance regarding the election of Course Reps can be found in the online training module that is circulated to Course Directors by QAS in September each year.
The most important part for us, however, is that you submit your Course Rep details in the form above no later that 16 October 2020.
This means that an accurate register will be in place to ensure that your Course Reps can attend the essential initial training to support them in carrying out their roles to the best of their ability.
