Tips from Leeds Beckett Library on how to make the most of your reading lists 😀

Use it!

You can access your lists via your modules in MyBeckett. You'll be able to:

1- get real-time availability of print and AV titles.

2- reserve a title if it's already on loan.

3- click through to eBooks, articles, AV resources, journals, and digitised readings.

4- talk to your lecturer or use Beckett Books Extra to recommend titles for it.

Personalise it!

Make sure you create a profile to:

1- add personal notes or reading intentions.

2- search for a specific title.

3- filter by online/print titles or Essential/Recommended.

4- filter by week, tutorial or theme.

5- display the list in your preferred referencing style, i.e. Leeds Beckett Harvard, APA or OSCOLA.

6- export it to print.

If you are a Course Representative, please share this information with your coursemates 👍

if you’ve not accessed your reading lists yet, take a look at this Leeds Beckett Library’s video on 'how to access your online reading list'.
