NUS Delegate-National Conference Representative.
This is Venkata Meher Hruthik Kuppili, I stand in front of you not just as a candidate, but also
as a fellow student, your voice, your advocate. Higher education may be exciting, difficult, and
often overwhelming. I think that working together, we can build a healthy student community
in which everyone feels empowered, supported, and heard.
My Core Values:
? Representation: As your unflinching national advocate, I will ensure that your issues
and ideas are heard loud and clear.
? Transparency: Open communication is essential. I will keep you updated along the
process and aggressively seek your comments.
? Inclusivity: Every student deserves to be treated with kindness and assistance. I will
campaign for equality and the needs of various populations.
? Action: Ideas are pointless unless they are implemented. I will work relentlessly to
translate your issues into concrete enhancements to our student experience.
My Main Priorities:
Affordable:
? Fighting for higher-quality affordable student housing.
? Advocating for better access to financial assistance and hardship funding.
Mental Well-being:
? Increasing awareness and destigmatizing mental health issues.
? Supporting projects that encourage peer-to-peer assistance and well-being
resources.
Academic Fairness:
? Advocating for clear and uniform assessment procedures.
? Promoting academic integrity and addressing plagiarism and cheating.
? Working to guarantee equal access to academic materials and support.
Employability and Career:
? Connecting students to career-related skill development opportunities.
? Lobbying for greater internship and graduate job opportunities.
Advocating for more employer engagement on campus.
A sustainable future:
? Promoting sustainable behaviours on campus and within the NUS.
? Calling for action on climate change and environmental challenges.
? Supporting efforts that prepare kids to become responsible global citizens.
This manifesto is more than simply a pledge; it is a commitment. I will be your advocate,
champion, and ongoing partner. We can work together to create a brighter future for our
student community.
