Hey LBU Family!
I am Dhruv, your SU President, When I stepped into Leeds Beckett, never imagined that my first step will be in the SU itself,
From being the project supervisor of shop zero and eco soup to serving as the President have come a long way to serve the student community with all your support.
My previous background of being in healthcare as Physiotherapist, being show presenter and as an event manager has given me an extra edge in my role as the president.
And yes, as said Dhruv has delivered the following working on BAME, sense of belonging, cultural celebrations and much more 
•    Worked on improving faith and prayer spaces on campus. 
•    Celebrated diverse cultural festivals on campus, like Nigerian and Indian Independence Days 
•    Increased sustainability efforts on campus by adding a vegan option at Breakfast Bite, our pay as you feel breakfast pop-up event every Thursday. 
•    Worked with the uni to increase free shuttle bus frequency between campuses for students. 
•    Introduced a special menu at The Hive by partnering with local restaurants to serve curries. 
These are few things that I was able to achieve so far being 6 months in my term and wish to achieve the following for the upcoming academic year. 
•    More student Staff: I want to help you find part-time jobs on campus. These jobs will give you extra money and help you gain valuable work experience. 

•    International guarantor: As an international student understand the plight of being a student in foreign land thus will be working on housing issues. ?

Healthcare : Making sure that we are there at the cruicial time. Helping all with NHS services.

•    AI in curriculum/ Flexible timetable: condensed timetables for better sense of belonging and more time for co-curricular activities and part time jobs.
•    Accessible spaces / new partnership with AU: Making sure that sporting and active lifestyle area is available at affordable prices.

•    New democratic system for home students: Will work towards the better engagement through a new strategic, democratic system for the students. 
•    Faith space: Will be working on multifaith space on campus giving the space to bring communities together.
•    99p beans on toast: Bringing the classic English snack on campus.


Yes, you have seen me on campus helping students, its time to help me again so that I can continue my work as the SU President. I am committed to serving the interest of all LBU students as always.
