Ifeyinwa Ikwuka

Hi there!

I am Ifeyinwa Ikwuka, a Nigerian Master’s student in the School of Sports, Events, and Hospitality Management, currently serving as a Course Representative. I am eager to stand for the position of NUS Conference Representative.

Describing myself as an ambivert, I possess the capacity for deep reflection and meticulous attention to detail. My unwavering commitment to fairness and justice has been a guiding principle throughout my life.

During my undergraduate tenure, I held various executive roles and was honored with a meritorious service award as part of the esteemed Rotaract Club's editorial team, among other accolades.

If elected as an NUS representative, my paramount goal is to advocate tirelessly for the rights, interests, and welfare of students, particularly those within the black community. I am devoted to amplifying the voices of students and fostering an environment of inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity across both campuses.

To achieve these objectives, I will:

  • Advocate vehemently against discrimination in all its forms.
  • Engage with representatives from other universities to amplify our collective voice, learn from successful strategies, and provide valuable feedback to the students' union.
  • Lobby rigorously for fair assessment and grading practices that accurately reflect students’ abilities.

I am deeply committed to fostering positive change and ensuring that every student feels valued, respected, and empowered. With your support, I am eager to serve as your dedicated NUS Conference Representative and champion the aspirations of our student community.

Thank you for your consideration.

Warm regards,

Ifeyinwa Ikwuka
