Hi everyone,

I’m Anthony Ijeoma Nwaobi, and I’m excited to run for the position of Activity and Events Officer. With my experience as an NUS delegate, departmental course representative for Project Management, and the Nigerian student society welfare and social officer, I am well-equipped to enhance our university experience.

I look forward to organizing a broad range of events catering to the diverse interests of our student body. From social gatherings to skill-building workshops, together, we’ll create a calendar that reflects our vibrant community.

Having served as an NUS delegate, I understand the importance of collaboration. I will work closely with student groups, clubs, and external partners to bring you events that resonate with your passions and aspirations.

I understand effective communication is key. I will utilize various channels, including social media and interactive platforms, to keep you informed about upcoming events. Your feedback will guide our continuous improvement.

As a certified First Aid and CPR instructor, I understand and acknowledge that safety is a priority. As such all events will adhere to health and safety regulations to provide a secure environment for everyone.

Having served as a departmental course rep, I have the skills and knowledge in being a voice. Let me be your voice, representing your interests and concerns. By actively participating in union discussions, I will ensure that our collective needs are at the forefront of decision-making.
