There are 43 members of the Student Council, responsible for deciding the policy and campaigns that Leeds Beckett Students’ Union works on, representing the student voice, and holding the elected Officers to account. Meeting 5 times a year to debate and vote on issues that matter most to you, all students are invited to attend and to submit motions (ideas) for debate. If your motion is voted through, it’ll become Students’ Union policy! Policies are then taken to the Board of Trustees to be ratified.
All meetings of the Student Council take place in the Council Chambers, Leeds Civic Hall, Portland Crescent.
