About Us

The West Yorkshire Youth Commission on Violence & Exploitation is conducting peer-research with other young people to ensure that students voices are heard on issues of violence, safety, policing etc.

The West Yorkshire Youth Commission is a peer-led project that enables young people to get involved and have their say about urgent issues that affect their lives and help build a safer community.

We are a group of 14-25-year-olds working with the Violence reduction unit to help shape approaches to youth-led initiatives, particularly in response to violent crime & exploitation.

Have your say on four key issues:

  • Rehabilitation and Prevention
  • Attitudes and violence towards women
  • Gangs, drugs and knife crime
  • community relationships & Life
